To inhibit a storage area of a memory from being used up while falling of feces is awaited.SOLUTION: A toilet seat device mounted in the upper part of a toilet bowl in which a bowl part for receiving excretion is formed includes: a toilet seat on which a user sits; a light emitting part for irradiating light; a light receiving part for receiving light; a first memory for storing data received by the light receiving part; and an arithmetic processing device for transferring the data received by the light receiving part to the first memory, and executing analysis and deletion of the data stored in the first memory. The arithmetic processing device not only transfers the data received by the light receiving part to the first memory, but also deletes the data when it analyzes that the data temporarily stored in the first memory is not the data based on reflection light from feces.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 20
【課題】大便の落下待ちの間にメモリの記憶領域を使い切ることを抑制すること。【解決手段】実施形態に係る便座装置は、排泄物を受けるボウル部が形成された便器の上部に載置される便座装置であって、使用者が着座する便座と、光を照射する発光部と、光を受光する受光部と、前記受光部が受光したデータを記憶する第１のメモリと、前記第１のメモリへの前記受光部が受光したデータの転送、前記第１のメモリに記憶されたデータの解析及び削除を実行する演算処理装置と、を有し、前記演算処理装置は、前記受光部が受光したデータを前記第１のメモリに転送すると共に、前記第１のメモリに一時的に記憶された前記データが、大便からの反射光に基づくデータではないと解析した場合、前記データを削除する。【選択図】図２０
