STEEL PIPE SCREW JOINT
To provide a steel pipe screw joint that is easy to process, can suppress increase of processing cost, allows weight saving of a steel pipe by reducing its thickness and making its strength higher, can improve workability and fitness, and can keep bending strength of the steel pipe equally or more than that of a conventional product.SOLUTION: There is provided a steel pipe screw joint that has a pin 2 where a male thread 2A is formed at an outer surface of one steel pipe and a box 3 where a female thread 3A screwable on the male thread 2A of the pin 2 is formed at an inner surface of the other steel pipe. There is also provided the steel pipe screw joint where a screw train of the pin 2 and the box 3 is tapered against a tube axis, and screws of the box 3 and the pin 2 are configured that at least the compression side flank angle relative to the surface orthogonal to the tube axes of the compression flank surfaces 20c, 30c among compression flank surfaces 20c, 30c bearing a compression load and tension flank surfaces 20d, 30d bearing the tension load, when coupling the pin 2 and the box 3, is set by negative angle inclined to the minus side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】加工が容易で、加工コストの増大を抑制でき、薄肉、高強度化することで鋼管の軽量化を図ることができ、施工性と嵌合性を向上させることができるうえ、鋼管の曲げ強度を従来品と同等以上に保つことができる。【解決手段】一方の鋼管の外面に雄ねじ2Aが形成されたピン2と、他方の鋼管の内面にピン2の雄ねじ2Aに螺合可能な雌ねじ3Aが形成されたボックス3と、を有し、ピン2とボックス3のねじ列は、管軸に対してテーパーが形成され、ボックス3及びピン2のねじは、ピン2とボックス3の締結時において圧縮荷重を負担する圧縮フランク面20c、30cと、引張荷重を負担する引張フランク面20d、30dとのうち、少なくとも圧縮フランク面20c、30cの管軸に直角な面に対する圧縮側フランク角がマイナス側に傾斜する負角で設定された構成の鋼管ねじ継手を提供する。【選択図】図3
