To provide a hand guide roller that is quiet and easy to see the front.SOLUTION: A hand guide roller 1 comprises: a base frame 2; an engine 4 supported by the base frame 2 and having a fuel tank 41; a hydraulic pump 5 connected to the output shaft 42 of the engine 4; a first cover 100 covering the fuel tank 41 from above and forming a part of the upper surface of the hand guide roller 1; and a second cover 200 covering the hydraulic pump 5 from above and forming another part of the upper surface of the hand guide roller 1.
