PILE PULLING DEVICE AND PILE PULLING METHOD
To provide a pile pulling device and a pile pulling method capable of reliably pulling out an existing pile at a low cost.SOLUTION: A pile pulling device 10 includes a cylindrical casing 11 through which an existing pile P is passed, and a support mechanism 12 provided on a wall portion of the casing 11. The support mechanism 12 has a main body 19 fixed to the wall portion, a swing member 20 that is connected to the main body 19 via a hinge 25 and that can swing between a storage position which is close to the inner wall of the casing 11 so as to stand upward from the hinge 25, and a protruding position which is inclined so as to collapse from the storage position toward the axial center side of the casing 11, and a stopper 21 that comes into contact with the swing member 20 and regulates the tilt angle of the swing member 20 at the protruding position. The swing member is positioned in the protruding position due to its own weight and swings from the protruding position toward the storage position due to the contact force accompanying the contact with the existing pile P.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
