To provide an attachment for a construction machine allowing a gap adjustment shim to be easily attached.SOLUTION: An attachment 5 for a construction machine 1 comprises: a connection shaft 20; an upper frame 8 and a boom 10 connected by the connection shaft; and a gap adjustment shim 30 adjusting a gap in an axial direction between the upper frame and the boom, wherein the gap adjustment shim 30 is provided with a first component 31 and a second component 32 connected to each other within the gap. Each of the first component and the second component comprises: engagement sections 31a, 32a engageable to each other at one end part; and fastening concave sections 31b, 32b opposing to each other to form a fastening hole 33 at the other end part, which is attached on a circumference of the connection shaft between the engagement section and the fastening concave section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
