To provide a slide device comprising a step panel, the lower surface of which is disposed with a power unit, and the upper surface of which is flat.SOLUTION: A slide device includes a power unit 20A that is installed on a lower surface of a step panel 21B. The power unit has: a door opening drum; a door closing drum; a motor that rotates the door opening drum and the door closing drum; a control device 53 that controls rotation of the motor; a first housing 50 that houses the door opening drum and the door closing drum in between the lower surface of the step panel and itself; a second housing 51 that houses the motor and the control device in between the lower surface of the step panel and itself; and a waterproof cover 52 that covers the second housing. The second housing is installed adjacent to an interior side of the vehicle opposite to a sliding door side of the first housing. The waterproof cover has a pair of side walls 55A and 55B projecting outwardly from the first housing in a direction intersecting an interior/exterior direction along the lower surface of the step panel, and a sealing material 56 is interposed between the side walls and the lower surface of the step panel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
