To provide a connector capable of connecting a new PC steel material to an end part of an existing PC steel material even when a screw part is not formed on an outer periphery of a fixing tool for gripping the existing PC steel material.SOLUTION: A connector for connecting a second PC steel material to a first end part 111 of a first PC steel material 11 gripped by a first fixture 15 on the first end portion 111 side which is one end part in a longitudinal direction, the connector comprising: a second through hole 171 including a male member 16 and a female member 17 for inserting the male member 16 includes a first opening 171A which is an opening on the side to which the male member 16 is inserted, and a second opening 171B positioned on the side opposite to the first opening 171A, and has a tapered shape extending from the second opening 171B side toward the first opening 171A side; the female member 17 is provided with a first connection member 173 including one or more kinds selected from a groove part and a crest part on a second outside surface 172 being an outside surface along the length direction of the second through hole 171.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
