To provide sanitary facility equipment that has sufficient durability and is excellent in easy removal of water scale.SOLUTION: Sanitary facility equipment 100 comprises: a base material 70 containing a metal; a metal oxide layer 20 on the base material; and an organic layer 10 on the metal oxide layer, in which the metal oxide layer contains a metal element and an oxygen element, the metal element is a pure metal or an alloy containing the metal element that can form a passivation film, the organic layer contains a non-polymeric organic ligand having a hydrophobic group and a functional group having coordinating property to a metal element, the organic layer is bonded to the metal oxide layer via a functional group, the base material is provided with a water flow channel through which hot water can pass, and the sanitary facility equipment comprises: confirming that a surface temperature of the base material is equivalent to an ambient temperature of 25°C; subsequently, passing the hot water at 45°C through the water flow channel for another 30 seconds from a time when the temperature of the hot water discharged through the water flow channel reaches 45°C; then stopping the water to bring the surface temperature of the base material to 35°C or lower within 15 minutes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】十分な耐久性を有し、かつ水垢易除去性に優れた衛生設備機器を提供する。【解決手段】金属を含んでなる基材70と、基材上にある金属酸化物層20と、金属酸化物層上にある有機層10とを含んでなる衛生設備機器100であって、金属酸化物層は、金属元素と酸素元素とを含み、金属元素は、金属元素を含む純金属または合金が不動態皮膜を形成し得るものであり、有機層は、疎水基と、金属元素に対し配位性を有する官能基とを備える非高分子の有機配位子を含んでなり、かつ、官能基を介して金属酸化物層と結合されてなり、基材は、その内部に温水を通水可能な通水路を備えてなり、基材の表面温度が周囲温度25℃と同等であることを確認した後、通水路に温水を通して吐水される湯の温度が45℃になった時点からさらに30秒間前記通水路に45℃の温水を通した後、止水して、15分以内に基材の表面温度が35℃以下になる。【選択図】図1
