INDICATOR LIGHT AND ROAD AUXILIARY FACILITY
To provide an indicator light that can continuously exhibit a visual guidance function.SOLUTION: An indicator light is arranged in a housing and includes: a light emitting unit 7 having one or a plurality of light sources; and a light source control unit 8 causing the light emitting unit 7 to emit light at a prescribed light emission cycle. The prescribed light emission cycle includes a first period and a second period. In the first period, the light source control unit 8 supplies power to constantly light the light emitting unit 7 at a first brightness for the first period or supplies power to the light source at a frequency in which the light emitting unit 7 appears to be always lit for the first period with the first brightness due to the afterimage phenomenon of the human eye. In the second period, the light source control unit 8 supplies power to constantly light the light emitting unit 7 with a second brightness lower than the first brightness for the second period or supplies power to the light source at a frequency at which the light emitting unit 7 appears to be constantly lit for the second period with the second brightness due to the afterimage phenomenon of the human eye.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
