To provide a sash nosing which can be extremely strongly mounted to an eaves side of a seam part of a vertically laying roof.SOLUTION: A sash nosing includes: a top plate part 3 covering an upper part of a seam part 2 of a vertically laying roof 1; a side plate part 4 covering right and left side parts of the seam part 2; and a decorative plate part 6 for shielding an eaves side opening 5 of the seam part 2. The sash nosing is mounted to an eaves side of the seam part 2 in a fit state, wherein a receiving part 8, which is inserted into the seam part 2 from the eaves side opening 5 of the seam part 2 and to which a fastener 7 such as a machine screw 7 and a nail driven so as to penetrate through the side plate part 4 and the seam part 2 from the outer part of the side plate part 4 is pierced, is provided on a rear face of the decorative plate part 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
