To efficiently absorb the energy of a laser beam into a ceramic precursor while suppressing the generation of deformation, voids and cracks.SOLUTION: A method for producing a ceramic sintered compact includes: a preparation step of preparing a ceramic precursor which is a ceramic precursor before firing and contains a ceramic material as a main component and contains a titanium-based black pigment on at least one of a surface and the inside; and a firing step of forming the ceramic sintered compact in which a sintered part is formed on at least a part of the ceramic precursor by irradiating the ceramic precursor with a laser beam.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
