To provide a backfilling device allowing excavated soil to be easily recycled.SOLUTION: A backfilling device (1) is provided with: an excavated soil screening section (10) for passing soil having particle sizes equal to or less than a predetermined size and placeable above an excavation trench; and a gravel storage section (20) for storing, among the excavated soil, gravel not passing through the excavated soil screening section due to its particle size larger than the predetermined size and attachable/detachable to/from the excavated soil screening section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
