METHOD FOR PRODUCING TOBERMORITE-CONTAINING HOUSING MATERIAL, TOBERMORITE, AND TOBERMORITE-CONTAINING HOUSING MATERIAL
To provide a method for producing a tobermorite-containing housing material that contains tobermorite in which carbonization is hard to occur.SOLUTION: A method for producing a tobermorite-containing housing material includes the steps of: preparing a hydrous composition; and subjecting the hydrous composition to hydrothermal synthetic reaction at temperature of 160 to 180°C. The hydrous composition comprises: a calcium compound containing at least one of Ca(OH)2 and CaO; SiO2; at least one sulfate selected from the group comprising Li2SO4, Na2SO4, MgSO4, ZnSO4, and (NH4)2SO4; and water. In the hydrous composition, assuming that a total molar number of the calcium compound and SiO2 is 0.18 mol: when Li2SO4 is selected as the sulfate, the molar number of the sulfate is in a range of 0.57 to 1.43 mmol; when Na2SO4 is selected as the sulfate, the molar number of the sulfate is in a range of 0.57 to 1.15 mmol; when MgSO4 is selected as the sulfate, the molar number of the sulfate is in a range of 0.57 to 2.30 mmol; when ZnSO4 is selected as the sulfate, the molar number of the sulfate is in a range of 0.57 to 1.43 mmol; and (NH4)2SO4 is selected as the sulfate, the molar number of the sulfate is in a range of 0.57 to 2.30 mmol.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
