To provide a vertical roofing roof which is easy to form and does not substantially require a marking step to a substrate, and a construction method.SOLUTION: In a construction method for fixing a vertical roofing material 2, a holding member 1 is provided with a lateral groove 11 whose center side is opened right and left, a fixing part 14 for driving the fixing tool 1b into a substrate 5 in the center, and a fitting groove 13 whose upper side is opened above the fixing part 14; and the vertical roofing material 2 is provided with mounting parts 22 formed in a folded shape on the back surface side on the right and left side end sides. The construction method for fixing a vertical roofing material comprises the steps of: fixing the holding member 1 to a reference line S on the substrate 5; engaging the mounting parts 22, 22 of the vertical roofing materials 2, 2 adjacent to each other on the right and left with at least one of the lateral grooves 11, 11 on the right and left of the fixed holding member 1; making the non-engaged mounting part 22 of the vertical roofing material 2 face another holding member; and fitting the cover material 6 into the fitted groove 13 of the holding member 1 fixed to the reference line S in a state where another holding member adjacent to at least one of right and left is arranged on the substrate 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】成形が容易であり、下地への墨出し工程が実質的に不要である縦葺屋根及び施工法を提供する。【解決手段】縦葺屋根材２を固定する施工法であって、保持部材１は、左右に中央側が開放する横溝１１と、中央に固定具１ｂを下地５へ打ち込む固定部１４と、該固定部１４の上方に、上方側が開放する被嵌合溝１３とを備え、縦葺屋根材２は、左右の側端側に、裏面側に折返し状に形成された取付部２２を備え、下地５上の基準線Ｓに保持部材１を固定する工程と、固定された保持部材１の左右の横溝１１，１１の少なくとも一方に、左右に隣り合う縦葺屋根材２，２の取付部２２，２２を係合する工程と、縦葺屋根材２の未係合の取付部２２を、別の保持部材に臨ませる工程と、左右の少なくとも一方に隣り合う別の保持部材を、下地５上に配置させた状態で、基準線Ｓに固定された保持部材１の被嵌合溝１３に、カバー材６を嵌合させる工程と、を行うことを特徴とする。【選択図】図１
