To provide a building member, while using an inexpensive and simple covering sheet in a manufacturing process, which is less likely to cause appearance defects due to floating or wrinkles of the sheet.SOLUTION: The building member is composed of a member having at least a first flat surface portion, a second flat surface portion and a corner portion formed from the two flat surface portions, and a covering sheet covering a region straddling the corner portions, with Garley rigidity of the covering sheet of 10 mgf or more, and a moisture permeability of 200 g/m2*24 h or less, to suppress appearance defects due to floating and wrinkles of the sheet while using an inexpensive and simple covering sheet in the manufacturing process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
