To provide an automatic washing device which can improve assemblability while reducing cost.SOLUTION: An automatic washing device 1 includes: a bowl 2; a soap liquid spout 3; a washing water spout 4; a warm air blow-out port 5; a single area sensor 10 for detecting presence/absence of a target to be detected in regions E1, E2, E3 in the bowl 2; and an operation responsive part for operating the soap liquid spout 3, the washing water spout 4, and the warm air blow-out port 5 according to the detection result of the area sensor 10. The area sensor 10 includes: a plurality of light-emitting units for irradiating different positions in the bowl 2 with light; a light position detection unit for collecting and receiving the reflective light emitted by the light-emitting units and reflected on the target to be detected in the bowl 2; and an operation part for light-emitting the plurality of light-emitting units at different timings and detecting presence/absence of the target to be detected per irradiation directions of the light-emitting units based on the output signal of the light position detecting unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
