BUILDING AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING BUILDING
To provide a building in which a load of a roof can be further borne by a compression ring to further improve the efficiency of a building frame, and a method for constructing the building.SOLUTION: The building includes: a stand 2 that surrounds a field 1; a roof 3 that covers an upper part of the stand 2 with an opening A above the field 1; an oblique support 4 that is arranged at intervals in the circumferential direction of the stand 2 and extends from a front-rear intermediate portion of the stand 2 to the front upper side; and a compression ring 5 that is arranged on the opening A side of the roof 3 in the state of extending over upper ends of the plurality of oblique supports 4, and receives a load of the roof 3 as an axial compressive force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
