To provide concrete additive capable of preventing water leakage and effectively self-healing cracks even if a hardened concrete is cracked by more than 0.2 mm, concrete composition capable of obtaining the hardened concrete with good self-healing properties, and a self-healing method of the hardened concrete.SOLUTION: The concrete additive, the concrete composition and the self-healing method of the hardened concrete includes an inclusion component containing a water-absorbent polymer, and a coated material layer that covers a surface of the inclusion component, is added into the concrete composition, and is at least partially removed in a predetermined time by an action of at least one of a component of the concrete composition and mechanical stresses.SELECTED DRAWING: None
