SELF-CLEANING CIRCULATION TYPE TOILET
To provide a self-cleaning circulation type toilet that can be consecutively used even when there are many users.SOLUTION: A portable toilet of this invention comprises: a toilet section 10 including a toilet bowl 11; a separation section 20 that separates a solid matter included in a treatment matter F from the treatment matter drained from the toilet section; clarification sections 31 to 34 that clarify, by microorganisms, drainage brought forth from the treatment matter in the separation section; and a returning section 40 that returns clarified water discharged from the clarification sections to the toilet section. The separation section includes a separation unit 21 that is arranged in a replaceable manner and performs solid-liquid separation to the treatment matter, and the separation unit includes a container including an inner space into which the treatment is introduced and a filter material that is arranged in the inner space and performs the solid-liquid separation of the treatment matter. The clarification sections include a filter floor on which a biofilm or plant rhizosphere microbial communities are formed and a holding container that holds the filter floor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
