To provide a cement admixture excellent in slump retention and workability.SOLUTION: A cement admixture of this invention includes a copolymer A including a constituent unit derived from the monomer (I) expressed by the general formula (1) and a constituent unit derived from the monomer (II) expressed by the general formula (2) and satisfies the condition (A) that a not-yet-surface covered ratio NA (30) is 65% or higher. 【課題】本発明によれば、スランプ保持性に優れ、ひいては施工性に優れるセメント混和剤を得ることを目的とする。【解決手段】一般式（１）で表される単量体（Ｉ）に由来する構成単位及び一般式（２）で表される単量体（ＩＩ）に由来する構成単位を含む共重合体Ａを含むセメント混和剤であって、条件（Ａ）：未吸着率ＮＡ（３０）が、６５％以上であることを、満たすことを特徴とするセメント混和剤。さらに共重合体（Ａ）が、一般式（３）で表される単量体（ＩＩＩ）に由来する構成単位を含む、セメント混和剤。【選択図】なし
