To provide a safety area guard to ensure the safety of workers working in a safety area, especially during road construction and road maintenance work, against unintentional vehicle entry; that can further prevent the installed safety area guard from moving by utilizing the weight of a vehicle that impacts with the safety area guard; and can be installed in a short time.SOLUTION: A safety area guard 10 comprises: a wall part 20 installed so that the angle between a direction of road travel and itself is 20° to 40° when viewed from directly above the road; a flat step 30 connected to the lower end of the wall part 20 and installed so as to be in contact with the road surface; a reinforcement pipe 40 to support the wall part 20; and a lump rubber elastic body 50 for installation at the tip of the reinforcement pipe 40 and in contact with a roadside zone and a part of the wall part in contact with the roadside zone.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】道路工事や道路メンテナンス作業時に、特に、意図しない車両の進入に対して安全エリア内で作業する作業員の安全を確保するための安全エリアガード、さらに言えば、安全エリアガードに衝突する車両の自重を利用することにより、設置した安全エリアガードが移動しないようにすることができるとともに、短時間で設置することが可能な安全エリアガードを提供すること。【解決手段】道路の進行方向とのなす角が道路真上から見た時に２０°〜４０°になるように設置するウォール部２０と、ウォール部２０の下端に接続されており、道路面と当接するように設置する平面形状のステップ部３０と、ウォール部２０を支えるための補強パイプ４０と、補強パイプ部４０の先端であって道路路側帯と接する箇所、及び前記ウォール部の道路路側帯と接する箇所に設置するための塊状ゴム弾性体５０を備えていることを特徴とする安全エリアガード１０とした。【選択図】図１
