To provide: a jointing composition used for jointing ceramic surfaces suitably; a jointing method; and SiC powder.SOLUTION: In a jointing method, a jointing composition is used which comprises polycarbosilane and SiC powder having a specific surface area of 1 m2/g or more. The joining method includes: coating the joining composition on one ceramic surface of a substrate having the ceramic surface; and thereafter laminating the ceramic surface of a substrate having the other ceramic surface onto the one coated ceramic surface of the substrate and firing it, thereby joining the ceramic surfaces.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】セラミック表面どうしを好適に接合するために使用される接合用組成物、その接合方法、そのためのSiC粉末を提供する。【解決手段】ポリカルボシランと1m２/g以上の比表面積を有するSiC粉末を含む接合用組成物を使用し、セラミック表面を有する基板のセラミック表面に塗布した後、前記セラミック表面の塗布面に他のセラミック表面を有する基板のセラミック表面を重ね合わせ焼成することにより、セラミック表面どうしを接合する。【選択図】なし
