To provide a new manufacturing method of a low potassium woody biomass ash, obtaining a woody biomass ash with a reduced potassium amount from a woody biomass ash.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a low potassium woody biomass ash, obtaining a woody biomass ash with a reduced potassium amount from a woody biomass ash, includes; a first step of heating a woody biomass ash at 500-850°C and the bringing woody biomass ash into contact with a gas containing hydrogen chloride, and a second step of washing the woody biomass ash with water to remove soluble components.SELECTED DRAWING: None
