To provide a joiner capable of properly suppressing the generation of swelling of the sealant, and a wall structure.SOLUTION: A joiner 2 has a receiving portion 22 that receives a sealant 7; and a pair of side plate portions 24 protruding from the receiving portion 22 toward a wall base 5 side. Multiple ventilation holes 27 are formed in each of the pair of side plate portions 23 and 24. The ventilation holes 27 formed in one of the pair of side plate portions 23 and 24 and the ventilation holes 27 formed in the other are alternately arranged in the length direction of a joint 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
