To provide a solar cell installation method allowing solar cells to be easily installed using reinforcement metal fittings for accumulated snow while reducing the number of parts and work load for installation.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a solar cell installation structure with which solar cell panels 3 are installed on a roof 2. Supporting-fixing leg parts 23 are provided which support the solar cell panels to the top face of the roof and integrally connect reinforcement metal fittings 21 for accumulated snow reinforcing the solar cell panels against snow accumulation and fixtures 22 fixing them on joint covers 9 of the roof. In the supporting-fixing leg parts, the reinforcement metal fittings for accumulated snow extend vertically to be positioned between the solar cell panels and the roof and upper end parts of the reinforcement metal fittings for accumulated snow are attached on the solar cell panels and lower end parts of the reinforcement metal fittings for accumulated snow are placed on an upper surface of the roof. The fixtures are fixed on the joint covers in a state in which they are connected and fixed on side surfaces of the lower end parts of the reinforcement metal fittings for accumulated snow.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
