To provide a sound absorbing panel capable of making a perforated board thin by suppressing deflection of the perforated board, and a manufacturing method of a sound absorbing panel.SOLUTION: A sound absorbing panel 1 includes: a base plate 10 at whose both side edges a pair of standing portions 11 are formed; a sound absorbing material 30 disposed along the base plate 10 and held between the pair of standing portions 11; and a perforated board 20 which is disposed along the sound absorbing material 30 and at whose both side edges a pair of engaging portions 21 are formed. The pair of standing portions 11 are outwardly pressed to be in contact with an inside of the pair of engaging portions 21, to apply tension to the perforated board 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
