To provide a toilet room structure allowing a bright and comfortable toilet space while allowing space-saving thereof.SOLUTION: A toilet room structure 1 is provided with: a toilet room 2 placed in a residence S; an open-air inner court 3 adjacent to the toilet room 2, the periphery of which is enclosed by wall bodies, W1, W3, W4 and W6; and a first opening D1 disposed on the first wall body W1 separating the toilet room 2 and the open-air inner court 3 and formed at least in a size equal to a spandrel window or more.
