STANDBY POWER SUPPLY DEVICE FOR FLOODGATE
To provide a small and inexpensive standby power supply device for a floodgate that can supply sufficient power to a motor for controlling the floodgate even during a power outage.SOLUTION: A standby power supply device 10 for a floodgate that can supply power to a motor M for controlling the floodgate that is directly turned on and started by a commercial power supply 20 comprises a DC/DC converter 12 that controls the charge/discharge voltage of a secondary battery 11, an inverter 13 that converts DC power of a DC circuit LDC into AC power and outputs it to the motor M, and an electrolytic capacitor 14 provided in the DC circuit LDC and having a capacitance capable of storing energy corresponding to the starting current of the motor M. The electrolytic capacitor 14 is charged via the DC circuit LDC. The inverter 13 supplies the electric power charged in the electrolytic capacitor 14 as the electric power for starting the motor M to the motor M, and supplies the electric power charged in the secondary battery 11 as the electric power for driving the motor M to the motor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
