To provide a strand rod connection method and a connection structure capable of providing firm connection.SOLUTION: A strand rod connection method is provided to connect two strand rods 1 formed by twisting a plurality of thermoplastic strands 10 at end portions in a longitudinal direction. The strand rod connection method includes: a first process of heating the rod end portions 17 and untwisting the softened strands 10 in each of the two strand rods 1; and a second process of entangling the strands 10 of the two strand rods 1 in a state of changing arrangement on a cross-section of the strands 10 of the rod end portions 17, and adhering the rod end portions 17 in each of the two strand rods 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】強固な接続が可能なストランドロッド接続方法及び接続構造を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】ストランドロッド接続方法は、複数の熱可塑性の素線１０を撚り合わせてなるストランドロッド１の２本を長手方向の端部同士で接続するものである。このストランドロッド接続方法は、２本のストランドロッド１の各々において、ロッド端部１７を加熱し、軟化した素線１０同士を解す第１工程と、２本のストランドロッド１の各々において、ロッド端部１７の素線１０の断面内での配置を変化させた状態で２本のストランドロッド１の互いの素線１０同士を絡ませてロッド端部１７同士を接合する第２工程と、を備える。【選択図】図４
