To provide an aluminum building material given a new appearance of white light.SOLUTION: An aluminum building material 10 comprises an aluminum basis material 12, an anodic oxide film 14 formed on a surface of the aluminum basis material 12, and an electro-deposition coating film 16 formed on the anodic oxide film 14 and containing a white pigment 18. The electro-deposition coating film 16 is 20 to 30 μm in thickness, and a concentration of the contained white pigment is 30 to 40 phr.
