COLUMNAR HONEYCOMB STRUCTURE FILTER AND PRODUCTION METHOD OF THE SAME
To provide a columnar honeycomb structure filter contributing to both of PN high collection efficiency and low pressure loss.SOLUTION: A columnar honeycomb structure filter is provided with: a plurality of first cells enlarging from an inlet side bottom surface to an outlet side bottom surface, opening the inlet side bottom surface and having a sealing part on the outlet side bottom surface; and a plurality of second cells enlarging from an inlet side bottom surface to an outlet side bottom surface, having a sealing part on the outlet side bottom surface and opening the outlet side bottom surface. In the columnar honeycomb structure filter, the plurality of first cells and the plurality of second cells are alternately and adjacently arranged in a state of sandwiching a porous partition wall, and a ceramic porous film, which has an average film thickness T (unit:μm) of 2-50 μm and a porosity P (unit:%) of 65-90%, where the average film thickness T and the porosity P satisfy a relational expression of 0.36T+60≤P≤0.75T+72, is formed on the surface of each first cell.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
