To provide a light transmitting window joint having excellent joint reliability and excellent durability against thermal cycles.SOLUTION: A light transmitting window joint according to the present invention comprises: a tubular metal member having an annular surface located on an inner peripheral side at a distance from an outer peripheral wall; and a disk-shaped light transmitting member on the annular surface. A brazed portion is located between the annular surface and a main surface of the light transmitting member located on the annular surface side. A recess is located along a circumference between the outer peripheral wall and a support portion having the annular surface branched on the inner peripheral side of the outer peripheral wall.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
