To provide a wire type regulator that can prevent rusting of a wire and a guide rail and prevent malfunction of the wire type regulator.SOLUTION: A first rain water guide section 170, which prevents rain water from entering a lifting wire end storage section 157, a lowering wire end storage section 163 and a groove 161, is provided on upper part of a bottom edge of the lifting wire end storage section 157 of a slider 103. The first rain water guide section 170 has a first visor 171 and a second visor 173 that overlaps the first visor 171 in a dropping direction R of the rain water and the like below the first visor 171.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
