To provide a boom in which passage of creatures is possible even when a water level is lowered.SOLUTION: A boom 1 comprises: ropes 10, 20 bridged in a prescribed water area; a plurality of floats 30 connected with the ropes 10, 20; and nets 40, 50 connected with the ropes 10, 20 or the floats 30 and at least a part of which is positioned underwater. The boom 1 includes a fish passage 60 positioned below a water surface. The fish passage 60 includes: at least two opening portions 63 opened with the nets 40, 50 interposed therebetween, in or below the nets 40, 50; and a path 64 connecting the opening portions 63 with each other. The narrowest area of the opening portions 63 and the path 64 is larger than an area of a mesh of the net.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
