SOCKET OF LOCK MECHANISM
To provide a socket of a lock mechanism that can easily release a body-side/door-side connection.SOLUTION: A socket 7 of a lock mechanism includes a case 9 connected to one of a door 2 side and a body side. The case 9 is provided with an insertion hole 21 for inserting a head 8a of a joint member 8 connected to the other of the door 2 side and the body side into the inside, and an engagement hole 22 arranged in parallel with the insertion hole 21 for connection to an inner wall surface of the insertion hole 21 and having a width smaller than that of the insertion hole 21. The engagement hole 22 is formed in such a way as to cause the joint member 8 to be separated from the inner wall surface of the insertion hole 21 in a direction in which the joint member moves relative to the case 9 when the door 2 is flipped up, and so as to have a width that allows a trunk portion 8b smaller than the head 8a of the joint member 8 to be inserted. A coil spring 11 that urges the head 8a of the joint member 8 inserted from the insertion hole 21 toward the engagement hole 22 side is provided in the case 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
