GROUND IMPROVEMENT METHOD AND IMPROVEMENT GROUND STRUCTURE
To provide a ground improvement method and an improvement ground structure which enable improvement of drainage capacity and bearing power and suppress in differential settlement of a weak ground used as a site for an architectural structure or a building efficiently with simpler work than a conventional method at low cost.SOLUTION: A ground improvement method forms a plurality of crushed stone piles 2 formed by arranging crushed stones on a side wall surface so as to be brought into direct contact with soil of a weak ground 1 in a vertical direction of the weak ground 1, and lays a flat gravel mat 3 astride the plurality of crushed stone piles in a horizontal direction on a ground surface side of the plurality of crushed stone piles 2 so as to contain a content exceeding 50 mass% of the crushed stones with respect to the total mass of the gravel mat 3 and have a water-permeable layer formed of a material having particle size distribution. A hybrid improvement ground structure having a plurality of crushed stone piles and a gravel mat laid in a horizontal direction on a ground surface side is formed by the ground improvement method.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】建築物用又は建造物用の敷地として利用する軟弱地盤の排水能力と支持力の向上及び不等沈下抑制を、従来の方法に比べて簡便な工事で効率的に、且つ、低コストで行うことができる地盤改良方法及び改良地盤構造を提供する。【解決手段】軟弱地盤1の土と直に接触するように側壁面に砕石が配置されてなる砕石杭2の複数を軟弱地盤1の垂直方向に形成し、複数の砕石杭2の地表側の水平方向に砕石杭の複数に跨がる平坦状のグラベルマット3を、グラベルマット3の全質量に対して50質量%を超える含有量で砕石を含有し、且つ、粒度分布を有する材料によって形成される透水性の層を有する形で敷設する地盤改良方法であり、この地盤改良方法によって砕石杭の複数と地表側の水平方向に敷設されるグラベルマットとを有するハイブリッドな改良地盤構造を形成する。【選択図】図1
