To provide a door opening and closing mechanism that can safely load and store objects-to-be-transported, especially granules while preventing leakage from the container door completely or to an extremely great extent.SOLUTION: An opening and closing mechanism of granules of the present invention is provided in an opening part of a container formed into a box shape with a top wall, side walls, and a bottom wall so as to open or close the opening part which is formed on at least one of the side walls. On or near the top end of the opening part, for opening or closing the opening part, an outer door 81 that is rotatably supported in the vertical direction, and an inner door 82 that is rotatably supported in the vertical direction on a bottom wall 7 that is separated from the outer door 81 by a predetermined distance, and it is configured such that the inner door 82 is provided at a position where the upper end edge abuts on the inner surface of the outer door 81 when the inner door 82 rotates outward while the outer door 81 closes the opening part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
