To provide a blind operating device that can prevent a stopper from coming off the ball chain even when an impact is applied.SOLUTION: A blind operating device includes a ball chain 160 which is configured by connecting a plurality of ball sections 162 by a cord section 164, for opening/closing operation of a screen 140, and a stopper 170 connected to the ball chain 160 for regulating movement of the ball chain 160. The stopper 170 has an accommodating section 170a that can accommodate at least a part of the ball sections 162 and restricts the detachment of the accommodated ball sections 162, and a slit 170b for introducing the cord section 164 into the accommodating section 170a in order to accommodate the ball section 162 into the accommodating section 170a from the lengthwise direction of the ball chain 160. In such a way, the stopper 170 can be prevented from being dislodged from the ball chain 160 even when an impact is applied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
