To provide a vehicle door control device that is capable of reducing the risk of unintended latch release.SOLUTION: A vehicle door control device 1 according to the present invention, which is for controlling a vehicle door opening/closing operation, includes: a handle member 30 attached to a door; an entry detection sensor 31 for detecting an entry of an object into a space between the door and the handle member 30; an external force detection sensor 32 for detecting an addition of an external force to the handle member 30; and a circuit section 4 connected to the entry detection sensor 31 and the external force detection sensor 32 and releasing a door latch when the external force detection sensor 32 detects the addition of the external force and the entry detection sensor 31 detects the entry of the object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
