To provide a novel temporary handrail that can easily adjust a position of a handrail bar according to the distance between a work scaffolding and a building.SOLUTION: Lock pins 40 at the ends of brackets 110 and 110 are provided so as to be substantially vertically upward or substantially vertically downward. As a result, when the brackets 110 and 110 rotate in the horizontal direction about a support column 210 of a scaffolding 200, mounting holes 122 of a handrail bar 120 and the lock pins 40 do not interfere with each other, so that the position of the handrail bar can be easily adjusted according to the distance between the work scaffolding 200 and the building 300 simply by rotating the brackets 110 and 110 to change the angle thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
