BLOWOUT PANEL APPARATUS
To provide blowout panel apparatus capable of appropriately setting the speed at which steam flows out from an opening (the degree of pressure reduction per unit time).SOLUTION: A blowout panel apparatus 20 which is provided in an opening A of a wall surface of a building 100 of a nuclear reactor-related facility, comprises: a blowout panel 1 formed to have a shape that closes the opening A; an electric drive device 4 provided on the outer wall surface of the building 100 of the nuclear reactor-related facility; an arm 2 connecting the blowout panel 1 and the electric drive device 4; a damper 3 connecting the arm 2 and the outside of the wall of the building 100 of the nuclear reactor-related facility; and a pedestal 5 which is located near an arm base 2d of the arm 2, and on which the blowout panel 1 is seated. By rotation of the arm 2 about the arm base 2d as an axis, the upper and lower parts of the blowout panel 1 are pressed against the pedestal 5 when the internal pressure of the building 100 of the nuclear reactor-related facility rises, while the blowout panel 1 is electrically restored to its original state when the internal pressure of the building 100 drops.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2A
