To provide a plate material cover that can be easily attached to a pair of plate material abutting portions without using double-sided tape or an adhesive and that does not easily come off.SOLUTION: There is provided a plate material cover 10, including a surface covering portion 11 that covers the surfaces of both abutting portions 2 of the pair of plate materials 1, and a back plate portion 13 which is joined to a base end portion 11A of the surface covering portion 11 and extends along the back surface side of the surface covering portion 11 and sandwiches both the abutting portions 2 of the pair of plate materials 1 together with the surface covering portion 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
