To provide a reinforcement cage production method, and a reinforcement cage production device allowing production efficiency for a reinforcement cage to be improved.SOLUTION: A production method C10 includes: a first step of supporting by a first cradle 20 a plurality of main reinforcement bars 11 in a state they are lined up in a horizontal direction and a radial direction, and arranging a plurality of main reinforcement hoops 12 in predetermined spaces along an axial direction in a state the plurality of main reinforcement bars 11 are inserted into the plurality of main reinforcement hoops 12; and a second step of supporting each of the plurality of main reinforcement bars 11 with the plurality of main reinforcement hoops 12 through moving the plurality of main reinforcement bars 11 and the plurality of main reinforcement hoops 12 relatively to each other, wherein the first step includes a process of supporting the plurality of reinforcement hoops 12 with a second cradle 30 capable of moving in a vertical direction z, and the second step includes a process of moving the plurality of reinforcement hoops 12 with the second cradle 30 while the first cradle 20 is stopped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
