To provide a metallic middle support fixture capable of securely supporting a safety wire, and allowing a falling prevention device connected to an operator to easily pass between the safety wire and the metallic middle support fixture upon the release of the safety wire.SOLUTION: A metallic middle support fixture 1 according to the present invention is formed from: a plate-like pedestal 2 having a base end mounted on a transmission line tower which is not illustrated here; a shaft part 3 formed in the vicinity of the tip of the pedestal 2; and a holding tool 4 tiltably pivotally supported by the shaft part 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
