SHIELDING DEVICE
To provide a shielding device that allows a string-like member to hang from each end of a head box even when fixing portions are provided at both ends of the head box.SOLUTION: Included are: a head box 11 from which a first lifting cord 15a hangs; fixing portions 21,22 which are provided at both ends of the head box 11 to fix the head box 11 to a wall 1,2; and slats 12 raised/lowered by raising/lowering the first lifting cord 15a. The first lifting cord 15a hangs down from an end position of the head box 11 where one of the fixing portions 21, 22 is to extend in the longitudinal direction in the head box 11, and in portions of the head box 11 where the fixing portions 21,22 are located, an avoiding portion causes the first lifting cord 15a to avoid the fixing portions 21,22 for being hung from the end position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
