To provide a post connection tool with excellent versatility and workability with which a distance between posts to be connected can be selected, which is hardly restricted by a post installation position, and which can securely install a scaffold along an outer periphery of a building according to buildings with various shapes.SOLUTION: A post connection tool comprises a connection pipe material 16 in which one side of a first pipe portion 12 and the other side of a second pipe portion 13 are connected so as to rotate in a horizontal plane around a vertical rotation axis 15 via rotary connection means 14. Respectively to the other end of the first pipe portion 12 and one end of the second pipe portion 13, vertical wedge materials 21 which are mounted to engagement portions 20 that are provided at side portions of neighboring posts 11 and that are in U-shape in plan view, so as to be inserted/pulled-out, are attached. Each vertical wedge material 21 is integrally formed of an end face portion 22 being in contact with an outer peripheral face of each post 11 and a circumferential edge portion 23 erected from a periphery of the end face portion 22, and includes a pipe mounting portion 25 that is mounted to be fixed respectively to the other end of the first pipe portion 12 and one end of the second pipe portion 13 at its upper part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
