SOIL RETENTION STRUCTURE AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD THEREOF
To provide a soil retention structure allowing the posture of sheet piles to be stabilized when installing the sheet piles between adjacent steel pipe piles.SOLUTION: A soil retention structure 10 is provided with; a plurality of steel pipe piles 101 aligned at intervals along a wall surface W of the ground foundation; sheet piles 301 placed between adjacent steel pipe piles 101; abutment pieces 201b extending in an axial direction of the steel pipe pile 101 and connected on each of side surfaces of the steel pipe piles 101 to limit motion of the sheet piles 301 in a direction along the wall surface W; and hook pieces extending in the direction along the wall surface W from each of the abutment pieces 201b to abut a surface of a side end part of the sheet pile 301 which is an opposite side surface to the wall surface W.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
