To provide expandable/contractable lightweight steel for interior decoration that prevents the sliding-out of an inner stud against a worker's intention.SOLUTION: Lightweight steel for interior decoration has an outer stud 2 and an inner stud 3 arranged in a nest state inside the outer stud. The outer stud has an opening 2b, the inner stud has a first folding part 4 having a first tilted part 4a and a first abutting part 4b integrally formed with the first tilted part. When the outer stud and the inner stud are positioned at first relative positions, the first folding part enters the hole of the opening, and the first abutting part abuts on the opening.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
