To provide connecting hardware for a wooden building for connecting a first structural member and a second structural member made of wood which are orthogonally joined to each other.SOLUTION: A connecting hardware for a wooden building consists of a rectangular seat plate (18) fixed to a first structural member (16) and a support plate (19) fixed by a drift pin (22) in a state of being inserted into a cut groove (21) formed at the butt end of a second structural member (17). The support plate (19) is fixed by welding with a pair of leg parts (27, 27) arranged side by side through a window part (26) along the centerline of the seat plate (18). The seat plate (18) constitutes a belt-like region (30) along the centerline and a side region (33) along the sideline. An opening part (25) is provided in the side region. When tensile force P is applied to the second structural member (17), the belt-like region (30) is deformed in a ridge shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
