SHOCK ABSORBING STRUCTURE AND SHOCK ABSORBING MATERIAL
To increase a compression load of a shock absorbing material.SOLUTION: A shock absorbing structure is equipped with a first structure, a second structure, and a shock absorbing material provided on one of the first structure and the second structure at a predetermined interval from the other structure. If external force generates relative displacement that is the predetermined interval or more is generated between the first structure and the second structure, the shock absorbing material collides with the other structure to ease shock. The shock absorbing material has a rubber member that is fixed to one structure on an end surface, and is elastically or elastic-plastically deformed by the collision, and a restraining material that is provided at a part other than the end surface of the rubber member, and suppresses the deformation of the rubber member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
